    Mizzou Idea Works is helping to a develop a distance learning Social Psychology course using our SAGrader essay grading software.

  • Public Data Queries, Inc., 2000-2003
    Public Data Queries Idea Works worked with Public Data Queries, Inc. (PDQ), Ann Arbor, MI, to develop an intelligent web interface to help a wide range of users easily use the PDQ-Explore online facility for examining census data and other large public data sets. This research was funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and used census data from the U.S. Census Bureau summarized in the IPUMS (Integrated Public Use Microdata Series) census microdata for social and economic research.
  • Pearson Education, 2000
    Pearson Education A prototype of the Qualrus program was used to generate a test-bank of questions for use with introductory textbooks published by Pearson Education.
  • Mizzou Anthropology, 1993-1994
    Department of Anthropology, University of Missouri - Columbia Sub-contracted on an National Science Foundation-sponsored project conducted by the University of Missouri, Columbia, Department of Anthropology to develop AI-Phyto, an expert system to classify phytoliths, fossilized micro-organisms often found in archaeological excavations
  • National Institute on Drug Abuse, 1988-1993
    National Institute on Drug Abuse Idea Works performed contract work for the National Institute on Drug Abuse, participating in the HUGO project to develop intelligent expert systems computer programs to assist new investigators in developing high quality research proposals for NIDA
  • Missouri Kidney Program, 1983-2005
    Idea Works consults with the Missouri Kidney Program (MOKP) to evaluate the methodological and statistical adequacy of proposals submitted to the MOKP Cost Containment Research Program.
