"Qualrus is much easier than NVivo/NUDIST. The documentation is more clear as is the user interface. I found (the manuals) to be very clear and well-written. Often when I had a question I could find the answer by re-reading the manual. Coding is a basic function that most qualitative programs do reasonably well. It is the introduction of the intelligent coding and the linkages and other features that make this much better. The coding and linking really encourages evolution of ideas and I found that my ideas continue to grow more complex than they did with a more static qualitative software tool. I also think it is cool that you can code a photograph. I loved the QTools and feel that I can do a lot more with them in the future. I especially loved the categorizing tool, although all of the QTools were useful in different ways. I found that I was analyzing data in new ways based partly on the available tool. I really loved it when in the last version it was possible to save as a live HTML file. If you have complex data from multiple sources and you are committed to a grounded theory approach, then Qualrus can really help you work organically and interactively with your data and thus your ideas."
